Heil’s first garbage truck was built for the City of Milwaukee in the early 1900’s. By the 1930’s Heil garbage trucks were collecting solid waste in hundreds of American cities.
Balar sells a wide variety of garbage truck collection bodies including: Front loaders, rear loaders, side loaders, and multi-compartment vehicles. All of the Heil garbage truck bodies are made in the United States building more than 3,000 refuse truck bodies annually in Fort Payne, Alabama.
